Risk & Compliance Consulting, LLC ("RCC") is a Colorado based entity that was established to provide the following accounting consulting services: 

• Financial Accounting & Reporting

• U.S. tax return preparation for individuals and small and mid-size businesses

• Internal Audit services including operational audits, compliance audits, vendor audits, risk assessments; review, assessment, development, and implementation of Internal Control Framework, and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) program management including SOX 404 internal controls testing.

• Ad-hoc accounting and finance projects requested by CFOs, CEOs, and COOs.

Mission Statement

Help organizations achieve their goals and objectives by bringing a systematic and consistent approach to evaluate and improve the design and effectiveness of accounting and finance function, risk management, internal controls, corporate governance, and other compliance functions. Provide risk-based and objective overview, constructive feedback, and best practice recommendations designed to add value and improve business processes and operations of organizations.

About the Owner

Nicholas Sidikovich is a licensed CPA in Colorado and Texas. He obtained an MBA from the University of St. Thomas. He launched his career with one of the Big 4 public accounting firms in 2005 and had a privilege to serve multi-billion-dollar companies in various industries including oil and gas, manufacturing, health care, and financial services either while working as a consultant at well-known CPA firms such as PwC, CLA, and Eide Bailly or as an accountant and / or internal auditor at Occidental Petroleum, Bill Barrett Corporation, and Great-West Financial. A pool of his previously served clients also includes a few non-for-profit and governmental entities.

After gaining many years of quality and evaluated work experience, he established Risk & Compliance Consulting, LLC in 2022 to provide accounting services as an independent consultant focusing on preparing financial statements, preparing and filing U.S. tax returns for individuals and business entities, performing risk assessments, planning and executing operational and compliance audits, assisting companies in managing SOX compliance programs, reviewing and evaluating adequacy of Internal Control Framework for publicly traded companies, and executing various ad-hoc accounting and finance projects for CFOs and Corporate Controllers. 

With a moderate managerial experience, he gained throughout his career by supervising experienced audit consultants, Nicholas has a proven extensive experience in establishing effective working relationships with business process owners, business unit and division leaders, Controllers, CFOs, SVPs, and COOs. He currently serves his clients as an Interim Controller, Sr. Audit Manager, Sr. Accounting Manager, Sr Financial Analyst, and a Tax Preparer.

Technical Skills: QuickBooks, Teammate, ACL Data Analytics, MS Excel, Word, Visio, Outlook, Teams, Zoom, Adobe, SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, PeopleSoft, Access, Allegro, and Munis.

Personal Interests

In his spare time, Nicholas enjoys an active lifestyle. In addition to attending a fitness club regularly, he loves spending time outdoors by organizing and playing volleyball, skiing and snowboarding, playing golf, mountain biking, and hiking in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. He is a passionate fan of Colorado Avalanche ice hockey team, the 2022 Stanley Cup Champions.
